Jane Price The Visa Essentials team is headed by Jane Price, a Registered Migration Agent who has been in practice since 2009. Unlike the majority of agents, Jane spent 5 years studying law, obtaining a law degree from the University of Sydney, one of Australia's premier universities. She thus has an in-depth understanding of Australian legal concepts and how to prepare persuasive cases which comply with the immigration laws underpinning Australia's visa system. In addition to her in-depth professional experience, Jane also has personal experience of the migration process. She lived overseas for 12 years as a migrant herself before returning to Australia in 2007. This return necessitated obtaining a Partner visa for her English husband and also Parent visas for her parents-in-law. Jane can therefore closely relate to and empathise with you. She has an in-depth understanding of your needs, including those stretching beyond the Australian visa application process. Karen Beder Karen Beder joined Visa Essentials in 2014. Her background is in health services management. Karen is passionate about working in an environment where she can use her strong communication skills and analytical abilities to help people. She has completed the Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice (ANU), so has an in-depth understanding of the laws governing visa applications and how to apply these to your case. Karen's business and operational management experience means that she understands the human resources requirements of businesses. Her experience in staff management and business operations enable her to give an exceptional level of customer service to our corporate clients. Pernille Kelly Pernille joined Visa Essentials in 2018 . She has a background in in investment banking and has worked in both New York and Singapore. Having worked with clients in the fields of hedge and sovereign wealth funds for organisations including UBS and Barclays, she is highly sensitive to corporate client needs. Additionally, Pernille has lived her life as an expat and immigrant herself. She moved from Europe to New York as a child and has since lived, studied, and worked in New York, Europe, Asia and Australia and so is acutely aware of the many issues of migration. Pernille is a Registered Migration Agent (MARN 1799888) and a member of the Migration Institute of Australia. Her qualifications include:
Cecilia Gunluk Based in Brisbane, Cecilia joined the Visa Essentials team in 2021. Her background lies in Employment Law and Industrial Relations consulting, having worked for a top tier law firm, a peak employer body and a large government department. She prides herself on her research and analytical skills, as well as providing thorough yet practical advice to individual and corporate clients alike. Having more recently worked on her own property development project, she has an acute understanding of the rigours of business and of clients’ commercial needs. Cecilia has also lived abroad - in Turkey - and so is sensitive to cultural differences and nuances. She too has assisted her extended family with visa applications and so can appreciate the emotional ‘ups and downs’ with the visa application process.
